I was blessed to live with a beautiful Mexican gray wolf for 14 years. I received her when she was only 5 weeks old and she remained with me the rest of her life. She would often times rest as she is in this portrait. I found it to be the sweetest pose and so indicative of the kind nature that wolves possess. If only more people could know that gentle side of them. My Cheyanne died in 2019 . This portrait was my chance to immortalize my baby girl and preserve the piece of my heart that went with her.
